Home learning

Home learning is sent in the weekly newsletter every Friday, along with a list of high frequency words that the children are to practise in their spelling journal.  Home learning should be returned no later than the following Wednesday.

Reading

Please make a daily comment in your child’s reading record. Their reading records and reading books should be brought to school on a daily basis. Reading books will be changed weekly.

PE day

Children are no longer asked to bring in kits, they just need to come in suitable PE clothes on their day.

Snacks

Your child is allowed to bring a healthy snack of fruit or veg for playtimes. In Year 1, the school also offers children a piece of fruit or veg every day.
