Home learning

Every Friday, home learning is sent in the weekly newsletter and is linked to English, maths or topic. High frequency words are also listed which the children are to practise in their spelling journal.  Home learning should be returned no later than the following Wednesday.

Reading

Reading books can be changed as often as the children need to, we do ask you to remind them as and when they need to change their books. Please write in your child’s reading diary every time you read together.

PE day

Children are no longer asked to bring in kits, they just need to come in suitable PE clothes on their day.

Snacks

Your child is allowed to bring a healthy snack of fruit or veg for playtimes. In Year 2, the school also offers children a piece of fruit or veg every day.
